Leap by leap the technology world has grown into so much more than we have ever thought. One of the technological advances that I have most enjoyed growing up is FM radio. Edwin Armstrong after inventing the regenerative circuit and not getting credit for it decides to move forward and invented FM radio. According to my lecture notes he accomplished this by modulating the frequency instead of the amplitude of radio waves. FM radio brought us clearer sound versus the staticky AM radio. FM radio is inexpensive for people who want to start up their own station with great quality sound.
